GPO conflicts with ZCC proxy configuration?

We are piloting Zscaler so this is a new setup.

We have GPO-managed Edge and Chrome on endpoints. Firefox is unmanaged.

ZCC is dropping a “c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\zscaler.cfg” file to manage Firefox.

Does ZCC set the proxy via the registry for Chrome and Edge? Could that be where/how the GPO confict occurs? If there a way to force ZCC to reapply the policy so that I can see it “take” (at least until the next GP refresh)?

Using GPO and ZCC to both set proxy settings will always cause conflicts. I’d suggest removing the POV devices from GPO so you can properly see how ZCC will work going forward.
