Getting [3005] recently on Zscaler client connectors. The logout & exit password also
does not seem to work.? Any suggestions

Which version of ZCC are you using ?
Is this happening in the office or for home users ?
Zscaler Client Connector Errors | Zscaler

Yes the issue is for home users…ZCC version is

Did you try if issue is present in version

3005 error occurs when there is an issue with WMI classes on the PC.
Repair/re-build WMI classes on the affected PC and reboot it & then try re-installing ZCC.

Let me know if this worked.

it is a WMI Error.
Put this into a *.bat file and run it as Administrator.

@echo off
sc config winmgmt start= disabled
net stop winmgmt /y
cd %windir%\system32\wbem
for /f %%s in ('dir /b *.dll') do regsvr32 /s %%s
wmiprvse /regserver
winmgmt /regserver
sc config winmgmt start= auto
net start winmgmt
for /f %%s in ('dir /s /b *.mof *.mfl') do mofcomp %%s

Is there somehting needs to be checked/changed on Zscaler with related to WMI error?

@Shreya Shreya to me this is purely a Windows issue unless ZCC some how damages the WMI ?
For me the WMI or 3005 error normally highlights other underlying issues like the SCCM client not functioning properly etc.

Hi There Shraddha_Pawar,

Did you have any luck identifying the issue in the end? I have a few users starting to report this error on as well

This resolved the issue for me, and is my go to fix when I see this error message.

Look if Airplane mode is enabled, we have seen this before and its blocks ZCC tunnel if enabled, even if Wi-Fi is on.

This fix works for me…thanks, Jonas! :upside_down_face:

In my case the WMI 32 and 64 bit sent me 3005 error, this fix works if you used the WMI, if you used the .exe option, it keeps sending the 3005 error even if you ran the .bat Thanks
