Hi All.

Newbie help please

Due to the need of a very restrictive url policy, allow a few urls and bloick everything else. I have created a custom URL category. For example allow only allow bbc.co.uk I added .bbc.co.uk and Created the policy.

I can get to bbc.co.uk but with no pictures. The logs show blocked such as nav.files.bbci.co.uk:443 , ichef.bbci.co.uk:443 etc.

How do I get around this ? do I have to define each and every blocked bit for bbc?

Hi Sue,

You can actually use .bbc.co.uk in your custom category, so that it will include the other two URLs as well. You can find more info here:

Hi Sue,

Seems the blocked URLs are bbci.co.uk and not bbc.co.uk.
You shall add .bbci.co.uk also in the custom category to allow those URLs.
