Securing Remote Access for the Government

Protecting users from malicious content on the web has resulted in large, complex outbound stacks to mitigate new threats. While stopping the most obvious threats, it also resulted in high latency for apps due to the number of hops between the user and the internet. In the US government for instance, the Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) has in some cases up to 26 hops to get to the destination.

With ZPA and Z App being FedRAMP certified, we can bypass those massive stacks of equipment. By using ZPA we can eliminate much of the overhead involved in setting up multiple connections making the app as seamless for Federal agency’s as it is for the enterprise.

Below I’ll introduce how ZPA and Z App provide a FedRAMP certified connection without the need for the traditional TIC. To read more on our solutions for government including our TIC in the Cloud Solution Brief please visit
