Sending logs to S3 directly

Hi Team,

Can we send the logs from NSS to S3 directly?

Hi @jacky. Today we can run NSS in AWS, however, we’d need something in the middle to convert the NSS TCP stream into a S3 writes, this call all happen within a single VPC.

Cheers,

middle to convert the NSS TCP stream into a S3 writes - Is there any third party solution for conversion. ?
Can we send the logs from NSS to S3 directly? - Is this possible or not as of now?

Hi @ramesh, there’s a few commercial solutions to write TCP streams direct into S3, I’ve never tested any so I’m hesitant to call out any specific vendors.

You can also use an AMI with something syslog, netcat or logstash to write directly to S3 mounts.

A few of our customers use FluentD: https://www.fluentd.org/, but it has not been tested/validated by Zscaler.

Thanks let me leverage this
