Zscaler DNS resolution for Azure in china reporting 127.0.0.8

Hi Everyone,

Over the last week or so we have experienced that DNS resolution from ZIA for some azure services such as anything hosted on *.azurewebsites.net and *.azurefd.net have started returning 127.0.0.8. obviously this means loads of sites dont work anymore in china.

Just wondered if anyone else experiences this or if it is a known issue with some regulation changes in China? and what have you you done to overcome it?

Can’t say we have seen this particular problem in China before.
We do see lots of instances of DNS posioning and just generally websites that get randomly blocked.

Hi Gordon,

We got to the bottom of it in the end after a lot of digging. If anyone has this issue i would reccomend you speak to your TAM (If you have one) or log a Zscaler case.
