If we disable the existing app connector, what will happen ?
Open TCP connections will be transfer to the other app connector at the same app connector group ?
Or all the open connections will be killed?

based on experience - the later
so better plan eg your upgrades during low-traffic times (eg early sunday morning)

The app connectors are never in HA. They are stand alone devices and never talk to each other. All open connections will be killed and needs to be re-established so that they can be served by other app connector.
